These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Batchim mobile application and related services (the "Service") operated by Batchim ("us," "we," or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Batchim is a Korean reading speed training application that provides:

• Syllable Sprint drills for recognition speed
• Korean Scenarios for conversation practice
• Batchim Rules training for 6 sound change rules
• Progress tracking with cSPM and accuracy metrics
• Both free and premium features

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.3 Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

4. Free and Premium Services

4.1 Free Service

Batchim offers a free version with limited features including:

• 5 daily drills
• Basic progress tracking
• Essential syllable sets
• Core batchim rules

4.2 Premium Service

Premium features include:

• Unlimited drills
• All 6 sound rule modules
• Priority support
• Early access to new features

5. Subscription Terms

5.1 Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed through your app store account (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Billing cycles are monthly or annual as selected.

5.2 Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period for premium features. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to the app store's refund policy (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Batchim and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use your content for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
• To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
• To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
• To submit false or misleading information
• To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
• To spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape
• For any obscene or immoral purpose
• To interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service

8. Content Guidelines

Any content you submit must be appropriate and lawful. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service.

10. Disclaimers

The information on this Service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all representations, warranties, and conditions relating to our Service and the use of this Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

In no case shall Batchim, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers, or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Batchim and our licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees).

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Batchim operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

17. Severability

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding the Service.
